Merry Christmas

From a white Holland I wish you a very merry christmas. I hope you will have great days with you and your loved ones.
Tonight, at christmas eve we will be drinking egg nog.
Every christmas time in every american christmas movie (and we see a lot around these days) people drink or are talking about egg nog. I was always wondering what it was.
This year I decided to look up a recipe and make it. Quite some timeconsuming thing but the result was great. I quickly poored another glass and ran to one of my friends who lives a few doors away.
"Wow, that is great stuff!" she said after drinking it. So tonight it is a fact. We are having egg nog!
I told collegues and friends I was making it and everyone is asking the same question: "What? Egg nop, egg nod? What is it?"
I am the only one watching all this christmas movies? Or am I the only one hearing the word egg nog all the time? Anyway, I think I am gonna make it a new christmas tradition.

Iedereen in mijn omgeving vraagt me: "Wat? Egg nop? Egg nod? Egg wattes?"

Mmmm, I love egg nog! I'm sure yours is even better since it's homemade! They sell it here in the grocery store by the carton next to the milk, you start seeing it in the stores around Halloween and then it disappears after New Year's until next year!

Have a Merry Christmas Lisette and enjoy your new tradition!!
