 I felt like decopatching again. Some jars this time. They look lovely with tea lights in it.

Weer eens wat gedecopatched. Glazen potten dit keer. Met een waxinelichte erin wordt het helemaal gezellig.

I tried some other stamps as well. Not everyone might be as crazy as I am about the Paris stamps.

Ook maar eens wat andere stempels gebruikt. Vast niet iedereen is zo gek op de Parijs stempels als ik dat ben.

Temperature today is nice. Yesterday it was a little bit to warm for my taste.

De temperaturen zijn vandaag best lekker hier. Gisteren vond ik het net een beetje té.

Decopatched jar

I really liked working with the silhouettes on the eggs. It inpsired me to make this jar. Yes, it is decopatched! Again!

Decopatch addiction

I think it is official, I am an addict! I asked all my friends and neighbours not to throw away their empty jars and tins cause I can't simply eat enough myself to feed my decopatch addiction.
For this three bleu things I used a bouillon jar, a tin that once contained green peas and an empty pot that had a scented Brise candle in it.

Ik denk dat het nu officieel is, ik ben verslaafd! Ik heb al mijn buren en vrienden gevraagd om potten en blikken te bewaren voor me. Ik kan zelf niet genoeg eten om mijn decopatch verslaving te voeden.
Hier zie je een bouillon potje, een blikje waar erwtjes in zaten en een leeg potje van Brise.

I made the angels with fimo again in a matching color.

Met fimo heb ik engeltjes gemaakt die er goed bijkleurden.

Most of the paper I used for this little house is from a napkin.

Het meeste papier op dit huisje is van een servet.

The before, it actually looks very nice overthere but I forgot to take a photo before I started painting it white. You just got to believe me it wasn't great.

Ik had eigenlijk eerder een foto moeten maken, voor dat ik aan het verven begon want zo lijkt dit huisje eigenlijk best nog leuk. Het is een spaarpotje van de Zeeman voor kinderen.
En het was ook leuk hoor, ze hebben zulke schattige kinderdingetjes momenteel maar net niks voor mijn volwassen smaak.

Oh my god, I am having so much fun decopatching! I can't help myself, have to decopatch!
Everywhere I go I see stuff that needs to be decopatched to become more beautiful. I have to force myself not to take everything home with me. I think I became decopatch addicted.

Ik kan mezelf niet meer stoppen. Ik moet decopatchen. Ik zie overal spullen die er om vragen gedecopatched te worden. Help, ik ben denk ik verslaafd!
Wel een mooie verslaving want ik heb er mega veel plezier mee!

This is the before. Bought it for 1,49 euros.

Dit was hoe het er uitzag voor ik er aan begon. Ik kocht het voor 1,49 bij de Zeeman.

Decopatchy

I am in my decopatching period I guess. Once I got started I became unstoppable. I want to decopatch everything I see! Not helping is that my fellow swapmusketeer Sandra is decopatching like crazy as well. Toghether with musketeer Marjanne we what'sapp eachother about items we should be able to decopatch. We even thougt about decopatching someones ears but decided that was a NO eventually. Sandra's husband Peter might be our next decopatch project. Still debating on that one.

Recently I discovered Rosies weblog. Her colourful style is so happy and bright, I became a follower on the spot and guess what? I saw a chair she decopatched. I couldn't believe it. Sent her a message right away and she confirmed. She really did decopatch this chair.
Wow! That is inspiring. Didn't I have this little darkbrown side table waiting in my shed for a make-over?
I am quite happy with the result.

Ik zit momenteel in mijn decopatch periode. Als je eenmaal begint ben je niet meer te stoppen. Toevallig is ook mijn swapmusketiervriendinnetje Sandra ook aan het decopatchen geslagen dus ook dat werkt erg inspirerend. Samen met het derde swapmusketiervriendinnetje Marjanne bedenken we dagelijks objecten die we kunnen decopatchen. We hadden al bijna iemands oren gedecopatched maar uiteindelijk toch maar besloten dat dat misschien niet zo'n heel goed idee was maar misschien gaan we Sandra's man Peter decopatchen. Daar zijn we nog over aan het vergaderen.


Laatst ontdekte ik het super kleurrijke, vrolijke blog van Rosie. Ik werd gelijk volger.
Maar wat zag ik daar? Zag ik dat echt goed? Had ze nou een houten stoel gedecopatched? Ik stuurde haar snel een berichtje en ja hoor, ze antwoordde dat ze die inderdaad had gedecopatched.
Ok, dat geeft weer nieuwe inspiratie, heb ik niet een lelijk bruin tafeltje in de schuur staan dat al jaren op een opknapbeurt wacht?
Leuk resultaat toch?

And why not decopach this jars as I still have some decopatch paper left.

En waarom geen potten en flesjes decopatchen? Ik heb toch nog wat papier over.

I finally managed to make a mold of this gorgeous angel that I have hanging in my bathroom. With fimo clay I made three to decorate the bottles.

En eindelijk is het mij gelukt om een mold te maken van het engeltje dat mijn badkamer mooi maakt. Gelijk 3 van fimoklei gemaakt om aan de flesjes te hangen.
