Budgetcard

This is a cheap card! :-) I used a wallpaper sample that I took at a hardware store.
I made the bow from some left over fabric en the ribbons are from the market.
The diecuts were made on the cuttle bug and as you can see I added some glitter on the corner one.

Cupcake pattern

Scrapbook etc had this pattern of a valentine cupcake and I just loved it and had to give it my own try.

This is their original cupcake:
I just Basic Grey paper for the lower part of my card: Lilykate, Posey

Happy going round again

And then, all of a sudden you make this card that makes you very happy. I really like how it turned out to be.
I never planned on how it should turn out. I just started only thinking I wanna go round again and this is how it turned out and I like it.
The die cuts were not made by me, I bought them for a small amount at a girl who owns a cuttlebug and I added some glitter.

2 sketches 4 you

There is a first for everything and this is the first challenge I enter. I have been visiting 2 sketches 4 you regularly and finally had the gutz to enter the challenge. After all, it doesn't hurt, does it? ;-)

Underneath another card I made last night. Somehow it just didn't work out the way I planned it. It is not to bad but certainly not good either.
Well, not every card comes out okay but I thought it wasn't so bad I should throw it away.
I do that sometimes when I find that it just isn't working out I quit and throw it away. Sounds familiar or do all your cards come out fine?

Lovely

Just another card, not much to tell about except that you might see that I let myself be inspirated by my favorite scrapper Iralamija who likes to work with greyboard now and than.

All of a sudden I decided to go round. I threw my first round card/attempt away as it looked way to much like a christmas ornament and there was absolutely no balance in my lay-out.
Going round is something different! I tell you!
It takes a whole different way of placing your embellisments.

Another thing was I decided not to go blue and pink for once. So I went green. I love dots and had the paper with dots in my stack for quite some time now. Just had to find some things to add and voila. But ofcourse I had to go pink and blue as well. I am a girly girl (woman) after all.

And oh my, I could use my little bells once again. Yeah!

To make my flower more romantic I found this round little bead (there is a name for it but I forgot) I still had in my big collection of beads. I placed it underneath my brad.
Something I learned on a workshop from Marianne Groenendijk.
Have a happy day you all!

My first scrapblog

I graduately went from making cards to making scrapcards. Never did a whole scrappage. I only do cards.
I am not the type to make this big projects. I like things to be finished quick.
A lot of scrappers own their own weblog and now that I think I kind of found my own style I thought it would be nice to start a scrapblog myself.
When I wanted to make a blogspot with my internetnickname Liszha I found I already had a spot there.
I remembered now! I started blogging here when I went to work in Bali for 10 weeks years ago.
So, I renewed this blog and will be showing my scrapcards here.

This card I made to welcome home a good friend who has been working abroad for a few weeks.

Just a card I made very quickly without all the thinking, trying and matiching I usually do.

This was my first scrapblog ever. I have heaps of cards I can still show you and already busy making another one.
Wishing you a scrappy day,
Liszha.
