More little bottles

Made some more bottles and this time I left the bathfoam in. I think it might be a nice little present.

Making this cute bottles is not really my idea. I got the idea from the really fabulous Home and heart blog.

Ik heb nog wat flesjes gemaakt en dit keer de badschuim erin gelaten. Zijn het geen leuke kleine kadootjes?

Deze flesjes heb ik gemaakt naar een idee van een favoriet blog van me, Home and Heart.

Vraagje: Wat vind je leuker? Met of zonder strikje?

My favorite bottle. I love the little charm on the side. It made me think about making some more with a charm but that meant I had to redo al the caps and I wasn't in the mood.

Mijn favoriete flesje, ik vind het bedeltje aan de zijkant zo leuk. Ik heb zelfs even overwogen aan elk flesje nog een bedel te hangen maar dan had ik alles weer uit elkaar moeten halen en daar had Lisette ff geen zin.

This and that

Here it is, the thingy I had to make for adding to my newest blogcandy. I am not putting it on line yet, wanna add a little more to it, so far it is a little to little :-).
Bought the little bottles on the fleamarket. They have bathfoam in it and I still have a 15 more to clean and decorate and put in my webshop or give away.

Hier is dan dat wat ik nog moest maken om toe te voegen aan mijn nieuwste blogcandy. Ik gooi het nog niet op mijn weblog omdat ik hem (de candy) toch nog een beetje magertjes vind en er nog wat aan toegevoegd moet worden.
Ik heb het flesje van de vlooienmarkt. Eigenlijk zat er badschuim in en ik heb er nog 15 staan om schoon te maken en te decoreren voor mijn webshop of als leuk klein kadootje.

Furthermore been trying to make roses with rolled up pieces of paper. Not happy with the result yet.

Verder heb ik nog rozen geprobeerd te maken van opgerolde reepjes papier maar ik ben nog niet echt tevreden met het resultaat.

And once again I made the pink hearts on a thread for a collegue who ordered one. It is simular like the one I made before but I thought I'd put it online for the new followers to see. For those of you who saw it already.............sorry for the bore.

Een collega had nog een hartslinger bij me besteld en hoewel hij eigenlijk bijna hetzelfde is als de vorige zet ik hem toch nog even online omdat ik in de tussentijd nieuwe volgers heb gekregen. En voor degenen die hem al eerder zagen................sorry!

Only one more day at work. I worked 7 days but today I have a flight to Nice, which is a short one and then..................3 days off!

Nog maar één dag werken. Ik sluit mijn 7 daagse werkweek af met een vlucht naar Nice, niet zo'n lange vlucht en ben dan lekker 3 dagen vrij!!!!!!!!!!!!!

A tag with real vintage stamps

I found this old stamps at the Flea Market and found it to be so much more real to work with than the prints I usually make.
I thought they would do great in my webshop so I have some sets available.
The pearls and crocheted flowers are also in my shop.

Ook van de vlooienmarkt, oude postzegels. Ik vind het veel echter om deze te gebruiken dan de prints die ik normaal gebruik.
Ik heb dan ook een paar sets in mijn webshop gezet.
De parels en de gehaakte bloem zijn er ook te vinden.

I saved these for my next blogcandy. I am putting one together and I am almost there. There is one more item I want to add but need to make first.

Deze postzegels zijn voor mijn volgende blogcandy. Ik ben bezig er eentje samen te stellen. Ik wil er nog één ding aan toevoegen maar die moet ik eerst nog maken.

Do you remember that I made this beautiful cake at my collegues house? I totally forgot to bring flowers or something else to thank her for learning me how to make this beautiful cakes. So when I was at the crapstore and I saw this tubes of glitter to decorate your cake with I knew I had to buy it for her but I had to add a tag ofcourse. The tube had a hole on the top that just asked for it.

Kan je je nog herinneren dat ik bij een collega zo'n mooie opgesmukte taart heb leren maken. Ik was toen helemaal vergeten een bloemetje ofzo mee te nemen om haar te bedanken dus toen ik in de scrapwinkel Hobbyworld deze glitter voor op taart tegen kwam heb ik het gelijk voor haar gekocht.

De tube had een gaatje bovenin dat gewoon vroeg om een decoratie. Dus snel een tag gemaakt.

Flea Market

I am always so jealous of you american girls with your endless amount of garage and yard sales and all your beautiful finds. I especially envy you when you find this vintage jewelry or beads of antique lace.
I already told you we don't have garage sales in the Netherlands but we do have flea markets and it was like I think 20 years ago since I went to one so I thought I'd give it a try today.
I did not find lace of vintage/victorian beads (don't you just love cameo's? I adore them) but I did pick up some nice finds I can do something with.
I found a few vintage postcards. I scanned them for you. Feel free to use them.

Ik ben altijd zo jaloers op de amerikaanse dames met hun garage sales en al die geweldige dingen die ze er vinden. Volgens mij heb ik dat wel vaker verteld.
Helemaal als ze van die prachtige vintage/victoriaanse kralen (ik ben gek op die cameo's) vinden of antiek kant.
Ik had bedacht dat ik er maar weer eens naar een vlooienmarkt moest gaan. Dat is zeker 20 jaar geleden sinds ik er voor het laatst op eentje geweest ben.
Vandaag weer eens een poging gedaan. Helaas geen vintage kralen of kant maar wel wat leuke dingen gekocht voor een habbekrats waar ik wel wat mee kan.
En wat vintage kaarten. Ik heb ze gescand voor jullie. Gebruik ze gerust. Ik zal er morgen nog een paar plaatsen.

Some little tags

Some tags this time. They are so quick and easily made.

Weer wat labels gemaakt. Het gaat zo lekker snel en makkelijk.

This one took me some more time and is a little bigger than the other two.

Aan deze heb ik wat meer werk gehad en is wat groter dan de andere twee.

Look what I got from one of my neigbours. Aren't they great?

Deze kreeg ik van mijn buurvrouw. Zijn ze niet gaaf?

Baghanger

A collegue asked me to make a baghanger/keychain like the ones I did before and ofcourse I wanted to but I think I went a little overboard and it became kind of big so I think it will only do as a baghanger but she can still remove a few things for it to become a keychain again.
I did like how it turned out so I didn't remove anything myself and put it in her pigeon hole with everything on it. I hope she likes it.

Een collega vroeg me om een sleutel/tashanger te maken ongeveer zoals de laatsten die ik had gemaakt. Tuurlijk wilde ik dat. Ik denk alleen dat ik een beetje over de top ben gegaan. Hij is wel erg groot geworden voor een sleutelhanger. Nog wel leuk voor een tashanger. Als ze er een paar hartjes afhaalt is het wel weer leuk voor een sleutelhanger maar ik vond alles bij elkaar toch mooi en heb hem maar zo in haar postvak gedaan. Ben benieuwd of ze hem leuk vindt.

En hier is tie dan. Het resultaat.

I like this heart the most. I made the button myself and crocheted the frame.
Dit hart vind ik zelf het leukste. Ik heb de "knoop" zelf gemaakt en er een frame om heen gehaakt.

The backside of the same heart. I think I will be cutting hearts the next few days. Have some orders for heart strands.

De achterkant van hetzelfde hart. Ik denk dat ik de komende dagen flink veel harten aan het knippen zal zijn. Ik heb er twee keer opdracht toe gekregen.

Matchbox

Finally I did a matchbox. Wanted to do that for a long time. The lady on the box is supposed to be Marie Antoinette but I keep seeing Julie Andrews when I look at her.
The pearls used I sell in my webshop.

Eindelijk heb ik dan ook eens een luciferdoos gepimpt. Wilde dat al tijden doen. De vrouw op het plaatje is Marie Antoinette maar ik zie er Julie Andrews in.
De gebruikte parels heb ik in drie maten in mijn webwinkel.

And the winner is....................

The five contestants.
That was a quicky! 70 followers already! I thought it would take longer but it didn't.

I had 12 comments but not everyone really enlisted or did follow up every of the three points (comment-follow-link) and although I felt sorry for some of you I had to be strict :-(.

5 contestants remained and Macho, having his birthday today (Yeah, that is right, he was born the day the Bastille was stormed) once again had to be the one picking out the winner.




Chica was being the referee (she is kind of arrogant and would never help me pick out a winner, that is so beneath her) while Macho was surprising me by walking slowly towards the 5 pieces of paper covered with catfood. He didn't go in a straight line but walked the left side of the garden where there was shadow. Why in heavens name is his name Macho?



He sniffed at the first one very quickly.

But started eating from the second one.
