Tryptich

Only this morning I found the eggs in this nest that I was looking for to complete this tryptich. Was already thinking about buying this speckled fimo but luckily there is no need for it anymore now.

Vanmorgen vond ik de eitjes in het nestje bij de Wibra. Ik wilde al bijna van dat gespikkelde fimo gaan kopen maar gelukkig is dat nu niet meer nodig.

  

Verzamelhuisje

7th of April we are gonna do a workshop with the Nederlandse Swappers (Dutch Swappers) at Love Scrapping. I had the honour of making this house and I just wanted to show it to you.

7 April gaan we met de nederlandse swappers deze workshop doen. Ik heb een huisje á la verzamelkastje gemaakt en ben ijdel genoeg om deze met jullie te willen delen op mijn eigen weblog.

Wil je meedoen met deze workshop en ben je nog geen volger bij de nederlandse swappers,  dan wordt je dat toch gewoon ff. Lees hier alles over de workshop.

Can you remember me buying this buttons in Gueschart when I was visiting Marjanne in Boufflers? The old truck I bought at a second hand market in Holland.
And ofcourse you recognize the housenumber as being Tim Holtz'.

Kan je je nog herinneren dat ik deze knopen in Geuschart kocht toen ik bij Marjanne op visite was in Boufflers? Het autootje kocht ik op de snuffelmarkt in Leiden.

Het huisnummer herken je vast wel van Tim Holz.

Poesie album swap

I swapped with Alie this time and I made her this little canvas with poesieplaatje. The theme was Poesie Album Swap.
Now what is a Poesie Album?
We all used to have one when we were little. I think not only in Holland and in Germany but I don't know about other countries.
On the right hand side your parents, teachers, siblings, family and friends wrote a pome. Always the parents, siblings and grandparents first. Preferably followed by your most favorite teacher.
Poesieplaatjes (images) were sold in books- and toys shops and where often glued to the left page.. I loved the ones with glitter on it.

I am sure I never threw mine away but I just can't find it temporalily. Anyways, this swap brought back a lot of memories.

For the tag I used this paperline from Eline's House, Nostalgia, that has a poesiealbum theme. I thought it would be nice to send a few papers to Alie as well.

And then I saw what paper she used for my swap.

Have a look at what beautiful booklet she sent me.

Voor de tag gebruikte ik papier van Eline's Huis, Nostalgia, dat een poesiealbum thema heeft. het leek me leuk dat om Alie wat van die velletjes te sturen.
En toen zag ik wat zij voor mijn swap voor papier had gebruikt..............:-)

Soms kan iemand zo maar ineens je dag opfleuren. Is dit geen superlief hart? Dank je wel Marjanne!

Been playing around a little bit myself with this little canvasses. Acryl paint and decoupage.

Zelf ook nog een beetje zitten prielen met deze canvasjes. Acryl verf en decoupage.

And what to do with dark brown hearts. I paint them! Pink! Add some embellishments and voïla!

En wat doen wij met bruine hartjes? Juist ja! Verven! Rose! Nog wat versierseltjes en voïla.

My cat Chica has been very ill and has been inside feeling miserable a few days. I am so happy to see the medicines are kicking in and see her enjoying the fresh air again.
She never was sick for the last sixteen years so I was kind of worried about the old ladie.

Mijn kat Chica is ziek geweest en was een paar dagen lang zo ellendig en bleef binnen. Ik ben zo blij te zien dat de medicijnen aanslaan en ze weer lekker buiten van de frisse lucht geniet.
Ze heeft nog nooit wat gemankeerd en nu ineens oorontsteking. Ze wordt een beetje een oud dametje met haar 16 jaar.

Dutch Dare

This tag I made is inspired by a photo at the Dutch Dare Card Challenge

Bovenstaande tag heb ik gemaakt naar aanleiding van een inspiratiefoto bij the Dutch Dare Card Challenge.

I added some at the back too, totally different style.

De achterkant ook aangepakt maar dan in een totaal andere stijl.

And although I hate cold and am already fed up with the snow I couldn't help myself and had to take some photos.

En ondanks dat ik nu al genoeg heb van de kou en de sneeuw en die hele elfstedentocht me gestolen kan worden (hoewel ik het de liefhebbers echt wel gun hoor, maar daarna dan gelijk weer mooi weer graag) kon ik het toch niet laten er wat foto's van te schieten.
